You can alter the text size on different parts of the Historical Directories site. We've also improved our printing options.

View & print

At the bottom of the Home page, click on Select a view. You can alter the size of the text on the home page and its linking pages. You can also specify whether you wish to view the site in its default or high contrast colours.
Once you've opened an online directory, you can click on +Zoom in or Zoom Out - to adjust your view of the directory image.
You can print an image from a directory by selecting File/Print from your browser.
However, a directory image will print better in PDF format. To do this, click on View PDF once you've opened a directory.
To view or print pages in PDF format, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. You may already have this. If not, visit the Adobe web site for the latest free download.
